Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul

The Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul has more than 50 years of history and tradition, and offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate distance-learning and on-site courses, distributed among the campuses of Anália Franco, Liberdade, São Miguel, Paulista, Santo Amaro, Guarulhos, and Villa-Lobos. It is acknowledged for its strong performance in the social area and for the distinction in several official indicators in the teaching, research, and extension areas.

Founded in 1940, in Mogi das Cruzes – SP, tradition and modernity have worked together at the Centro Universitário Braz Cubas: it has more than 80 years of history in quality education in several areas of knowledge. Based on the northern coast of São Paulo, Faculdade São Sebastião was recognized by MEC in November 2003. Its main purpose is to qualify professionals who meet the needs of the labor market in the region, developing research in the environment (São Sebastião), culture (archeological sites in São Sebastião and Ilha Bela), tourism, hospitality, education, ports, auditing, petroleum, and international maritime and environmental law areas.

All this supported by institutions with strong regional brands and superior quality.

UNIVERSIDADE POSITIVO

With concept 4 of excellence (on a scale of 1 to 5), according to the evaluation of the Preliminary Course Concept (CPC) of MEC, the Medicine course by Universidade Positivo provides students with a humanistic, generalist, critical and reflective education for individual or collective care. Besides this, the students experience medical situations in the Center for Realistic Simulation (CESUP), where they are trained using high-fidelity simulations, and practice in real environments through partnerships with large hospitals in Curitiba, including the Brazilian Unified Health System. The company also holds a partnership with the Marc Institute Brazil, a specialized environment for the training and study of human anatomy, through the Surgical Training Center of Universidade Positivo (CTC), which allows students to participate in realistic training with human anatomical parts (fresh frozen specimens).

With concept 4 of excellence (on a scale of 1 to 5), according to the evaluation of the Preliminary Course Concept (CPC/2019) of MEC, the Medicine course by UNIPÊ has a reference structure throughout the Northeast. The students benefit from the most extensive training areas, where they are able to perform procedures and simulate techniques, in a first-class laboratory complex. It is focused on human development, active citizenship, ethics, humanization, regional development, and the promotion, prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation of health and collective welfare.

UNICID

With concept 4 of excellence (on a scale of 1 to 5), according to the evaluation of the Preliminary Course Concept (CPC/2019) of MEC, the Medicine course by UNICID uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) methodology, which works on: interdisciplinarity, communication of ideas, decision making, creativity, initiative, intellectual autonomy, strong interaction between theory and practice.

Besides this, the institution’s infrastructure includes a Hospital Simulado, spaces for training Medical Skills, Morphofunctional Laboratory, Surgical Technique Laboratory, and Functional Practice Laboratory. And the company holds a partnership with the Marc Institute Brazil Courses, an institute that specializes in training and studies with anatomical specimens (fresh frozen human) , as an incentive to the internationalization of the student.

The course’s infrastructure is very extensive, with laboratories, equipment, and specific materials, all available for the students’ learning and practice. Besides this, it offers a modern pedagogical project and a faculty composed of medical professionals and professionals from related areas, with masters and doctors, trained in the methodology adopted in the course. Our Schools

The foundation of Colégio Cruzeiro do Sul, in 1965, began our group’s journey in changing lives through quality education. Currently, besides the institution that originated the group, there are four other schools that comprise Cruzeiro do Sul Educacional, from Kindergarten to High School.
